Description

SLD (Superluminescent Diode) module is a broad spectrum low coherence optical source in 14-pin DIL or 8-pin Butt package. It is composed of a InGaAsP MQW chip, TEC cooler, two thermistors, back power monitor (PIN detector). It can operate in ATC mode or APC mode. SM fiber and PM fiber pigtail are available and can be customized. Optical output is optional in linear polarization or natural polarization. With advantages of wide spectrum width, slight spectrum modulation, high output power and miniature footprint, SLD module is a best choice for interferometer based fiber optic sensing systems, and other applications.
